They now have all of the walls poured for the basement. They still need to waterproof the outside of the back wall, but can't do so until it stops raining (or snowing, as it did this morning). I managed to move the webcam up another 6 feet or so, and replaced the sunshade with one that is less likely to warp. Given that it's winter and the camera points pretty much due south, there is still a bit of glare at some times of the day. There is a pretty good pile of debris from the forms process that will have to move before some of the backfilling can occur.

The came back and started excavating for the basement floor. This begins another long process with not much progress to show. They will probably pour some footings, then put down gravel, run plumbing and other conduits, then put in steel and radiant heating tubing before they actually pour the foundation. They carted away more dirt. If the back wall had been waterproofed, they could have maybe used some of this dirt for backfill.
