The cicadas (Cigales) were omnipresent, and in many forms. It appears to the be official insect of Provence. It appears on fabric, in jewelry, soap, etc.

 
There were mimes and jugglers.

 
It was the day before Easter, and the chocolatier had animals of all sorts, in fact an actual ark.

 
The next day was Easter, but it was still market day in L'Isle sur la Sorgue, where we met our favorite olive sellers and saw some beautiful white asparagus.

 
There were toys for Dick to fidget with and lots of antiques (well, more like flea market fare).
