The bonus sight at the olive mill was a very nice pigeoniere.

On Friday, we went to Sisteron. The shot on the right is looking down from the top of the citadel at the ruins of the old bridge.

The narrow steps lead to the cell were the crown prince of Poland was kept prisoner for several years. The church at the top was recently rebuilt after being bombed by the Allies during WWII. It contains a gallery of watercolors of Sisteron.

The wall of the church seems to be half hewn from the rock and half set with small stones. The route down went through some amazing tunnels.

We walked through the town and saw some wonderful doors and a beautiful wrought iron campanille.
