Inside the Lavender Museum were antique stills which were used to extract the essential oil from the lavender. There was an interesting portable still that was pulled from town to town.

Monday we had lunch at the home of Denis and Solange Brihat, a wonderful photographer. I was captivated by a picture of a poppy that he had recently printed.

I tried to take his picture next to photos that Betty and I were thinking of buying, but didn't get him exposed all that well. Betty has better will power than I do. I went back that afternoon and bought the one on the right.

That night we went back to our Bonnieux hotel and fixed dinner. The prep work for the dinner was done in our morning cooking class with Sharon and Elaine. We had pork loin with green teppenade stuffing.

We also had ratatouille and a wonderful salad with goat cheese and sour cherries.
