We got up this morning, had breakfast at the hotel and took Bruce's computer (that won't boot after the last update he loaded) to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. They worked on it for a while and were not able to fix it.
Next we went to Nampa, a small town near Boise, to the Warhawk Air Museum which was rich in military history.
Not only did it have airplanes, but also uniforms, combat vehicles, radios, flight suits, etc.
They had other avation related items.
They had some engines and a cut-away jet model that were probably
used for training mechanics.
They had non-avation related items from the war years such as old cars and
old radios.
They even had a chair for Dick to relax in while Bruce was talking to the docents.
In the afternoon (before our nap), We went to a mini-mall that had a model train
section. Bruce didn't buy anything, They also had antiques, housewares, jewelry, etc.
They had some amazing geodes ($5,000-$10,000) with an offer of free delivery. They
had an amazing collection of Corningware (for Laura).
In the evening, we went to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and saw Much Ado About Nothing. I didn't recognize any OFS alumni in the cast but they are doing Romeo and Juliet in July and it has about seven OSF folks in the production. We really enjoyed Much Ado. The staging was good and the actors were great.
Bruce took a video of the inside on the theater (before the show started). It
ends with some old bearded guy in the right hand corner.
Hopefully we will be leaving Boise on Monday.
On to day 7.
