We're heading home. Bruce's brother Mark lives in Vail, AZ, just outside Tucson. He put us up for the night.
We went in to Tucson to have dinner
at an Indian (south Asian) restaurant.
At our first charging stop, we were in the parking lot of a Hampton hotel. There was a truck parked across three of the
charging spaces. This is called ICEing (blocking the charger with an internal combustion engine vehicle).
We went in the hotel and asked if we could buy breakfast since they feed their guests. The manager
said that since we asked so nicely, breakfast was on them (and pretty tasty).
At another of our stops, there were folks showing off their vintage cars. Here are a
Thunderbird and a Hudson.
Mark and his daughter Robin live in a wonderful pueblo revival house. Here a few pictures and a movie of the
back yard.
Finally, at the end of the day, we had put in 549 miles.
