We drove to Beaumont where Marjorie lives. Their air conditioner was having trouble with the 115º temp so we met them at the local bowling alley.
Here is Liam bowling. If you look closely, you can see that this bowling alley has the ability to raise a fence to keep the ball out of the gutter. A nice option for children bowling.
Bruce, Marjorie, and I mainly watched from a table a bit behind the alleys.
The kids would often join us when it wasn't their turn to bowl. Here is James at our table.
For really young kids they have these cool plastic ramps where you place the ball on top and then push it toward the pins. Here is Brian helping Hazel to bowl.
Of course, they had more than bowling. The kids spent some time with the arcade games as well.
Finally, at the end of the day, we had put in around 440 miles. I didn't take a picture of the odometer.
