Bruce and I had planned to have lunch with our friend Joel, but he had fallen on Saturday and wasn't up to going out. We offered to bring lunch in but by the time we learned of the situation, he had already eaten. Bruce and I went to Chef Chu's restaurant for lunch.
Today was my granddaughter Hazel's 8th birthday. I had already bought a present for her via Amazon. Bruce's wife, Deb, had found her a gift as well. Since we were taking Emilie's old Windows laptop to Liam, but felt we needed something for James, the middle child. We went to a really cool toy store in Menlo Park called the Cheeky Monkey and got him some pickle ball paddles.
We went out to dinner at perhaps the only remaining French restaurant in Menlo Park named Bistro Vida. Again, early to bed for Dick.
