Today was just a day of travel. We left Kansas City a little after 7 AM and got to Denver around 7 PM. We did drive through Lawrence and look at some buildings at KU but we didn't take any pictures. We also drove by the duplex where Dick lived for two years while a graduate student at KU. It has really gone downhill in the last 55 years (perhaps the same could be said for us). In the Denver area we first stopped at a supercharger to have some electrons for tourism in the next couple of days; then we drove to our hotel.
Bruce took a picture out the window of the basic boring sight that we saw all day long.
Bruce did notice that pretty much every town we passed advertised some sort of museum. There was an Oz museum, the Eisenhower Pesidential Library, some military museums, a wildlife museum, and several others. We passed them all. Hard to believe, we even passed by a railroad museum.
Finally, at the end of the day, we had put in 636 miles.
