Today was a long day of travel from Price, UT, a little farming community about 100 miles southeast of Salt Lake City. We stopped multiple times to charge, drove across the Bonneville Salt Flat then followed the Humboldt River to Reno, NV. Bruce points out that this was also the route of the first transcontinental railroad. After checking into our hotel in Reno, we picked up Bruce's son, Geoff, and went out to dinner at BJ's Barbeque in Sparks, NV. We went back to Geoff's condo and visited for a while then went back to our hotel and crashed.
Most of our drive looked like this
We forgot to take a picture of the odometer at the end of the day. Nevertheless, we had put in 659 miles - a long day of driving.
