We got up pretty early in the morning and started toward Ashland. We stopped at a McDonalds for a quick breakfast. We stopped at a supercharger in Susanville. On a previous adventure we had used that charger in its first week of operation. From Susanville, we headed for Mt. Shasta City. We charged there then drove to Dick's house.
We went through some areas that had suffered a big fire within the last couple of years. We had driven through this area right after the fire and the air quality was not as good as it was today.
We could see Mt. Lassen on the way.
We joined up with I-5 just south of Mt. Shasta City. We had a nice view of the mountain on our way.
Finally, at the end of the day, we had put in 320 miles. This was the end of our adventure which 5,612 miles. Bruce still needs to drive back to the Bay Area.
