Today we drove to Moab, UT, stopping to charge in Kayenta, AZ and Blanding, UT.
On our way we drove through Monument Valley. We took a video.
While charging in Blanding, UT, Dick spotted a dinosaur museum.
Bruce took a lot of pictures.
Here are a couple of pictures explaining Permian logs from
trees that were alive before dinosaurs appeared.
The founders of the museum were reconstruction specialists working with the
paleontologists. Here are reconstructions of an Allosaurus and Therizinosaurus.
Many dinosaurs are now thought to have been feathered. Here is a picture showing the
development of feathers and one of a fossilized feather.
We drove on to Moab, Utah. At the end of the day, we had driven 279 miles.
