This was definitely a day of travel. We had a good night's sleep at a much nicer hotel
than the night before. Breakfast was the classic cheap hotel fare. We snacked on carrots
and celery while charging at the WaWa gas and snacks station for lunch. You might think we
should have taken a more direct route, but we followed the suggestion to re-route because
the supercharger we were headed to was very busy. Another supercharger that we thought about using
was temporarily closed. Our last supercharger was behind a rather nice BBQ (called Sonny's)
so we ate dinner there while charging. Our final destination of the night was the key named Marathon,
which is a little over half-way from the mainland to Key West. We will head to Key West
tomorrow morning. Today's circuitous route gave us a nice overview of the backroads and
byways of Florida.
Finally, at the end of the day, we had put in 590 miles.
