We left our hotel in Orem at 6:20 am. We stopped to charge in Tooele, Utah
and had breakfast at a Denny's. After that, we drove across the barren
Salt Flats, stopped at several superchargers and got almost to Reno when
progress suddenly halted. There was about a mile of stopped vehicles
on Interstate 80. It took us about half an hour to get to the accident site.
We're not sure exactly what happened. We saw a completely burned car and
several other vehicles with disabling damage. We don't know if there were
other vehicles that had already been towed away. Once we got past that
mess, we arrived in Reno, checked into our hotel, picked up Bruce's son
Geoff, and went to dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant.
Finally, at the end of the day, we had put in 600 miles.
